I’m all grown up now And no longer afraid of the dark I’m not afraid of monsters Or aliens I don’t have nightmares anymore About the bogie man And other dark and scary things Now I’m afraid I’m not good enough And that I won’t make anything of myself I afraid that my dreams won’t come true And that I’ll end up alone I’m unsure of where my life is going And scared that it might not go anywhere I’m worried that I won’t make my parents proud And that I won’t fulfill everyone’s expectations I’m all grown up now And I used to think grown-ups were brave But even though I’m not afraid of the dark I’ve realized that being a grown up Can be just as scary |

This was good. I really like the topic. Punctuation though, and in the first stanza, the additions about being scared was kinda redundant to me. |
