Perpetual Splendor

It’s a lovely night
The stars bearing their light
The moon a pale perfection

Nothing seems too far tonight
The world filled with sight
A heaven here on earth

The beauty makes me shiver
And be thankful to the Giver
For the stars o’r head tonight

There’s too much to take in
Where to begin?
One hardly knows

It’s a beautiful night
Lovely and bright
Touching the other side of forever
