It’s a world of conflict But I have a haven in havoc Too much is wasted in dreaming And nothing set in stone Edges can dull in a moment And minds can change in a thought Right can seem all but impossible And love, hopeless But then, we remember in our past Through the years and lakes of tears That some things exist Well, outside of fairytales Near tangible, and sweet in memory Like a rose in the winter When life should be death A slit of a view of beyond It’s a world of conflict A rule of thumb un-ignored Too much for a person alone I suppose that’s why there are two "I thought I'd just mention in passing . . . I always wanted a Sparkly of my very own." -Jeremy The Crow |
