lately im hiding
and im crying uncontrollably
lately im falling faster
will you catch me

what do i do,
is it me
or is it you

harsh words fill my mind
but i bite my tongue
thats all i hide
but they're not mine
no hurt comes with pride
but your not blind

so tie me up
tare off my mask
you'll find the same eyes staring back
cuz i dont hide my heart from you

lately im angry
and im raging uncontrollably
lately im falling faster
than gravity

what do i do
its not me
and its not you

i sit here dreaming
that im sitting here screaming
but i can only sit in silence
crying til im dried out
i know your far away
but im worried that you'll hear me
and im worried that you'll walk through the door and see me bleeding

so tie me up
tare off my mask
you'll find the same heart staring back
cuz i dont hide my eyes from you

lately im raging
and breaking more than my mind
seek and you shall find
but dont get too close dont get inside
i just need time

how do i let go
when ive heard more words
than i need to know
