its a crazy world out there
and shes not sure whats she's expecting
she ties her shoe and fixes her hair
shes chased by her shadow
and shes running after her dream
can you imagine nothings as it seems

she sits on a cloud
and reaches for that star
if she falls down
will you catch her in your arms

shes got no where to go
no place to hide
nothing but the moonlight
searching for a worthy fight
and her only question is why

she listens to silence
and wonders where its going
she ties her shoe and fixes her hair
she opens a door
and finds nothing but violence
she just stands still
and thinks about the sky
and she wonders why

shes trying to find
a point to all this damage
whats on her mind
will she ever fly

she got no where to go
no place to hide
nothing but the moon light
searching for a worthy fight
and her only question is why

is there a point
of turning back around
she ties her shoe and fixes her hair
shes sure theres more
out there to be found
does anyone care

behind the walls
secrets remain hidden
she holds them all
who will be forgiven
she ties her shoe and fixes her hair
