all over the room are the meaningless things
that make me who i am

the guitar in the corner
is where i play out my soul
its my edge of reason
when i want to let go
and theres so much more

the energy drinks and the empty bottles
the life i live just keeps getting harder
and its not that im greedy, i dont want it all
i dont want the fortune or the name to call

i just wish someone knew how to be a friend
the times are hard and i need to depend on someone
because if i keep living in this sad, broken mess
i think i may give up at last

because no one ever tells you to just keep breathing
dont let go because other people have feelings
but no one cares
its just the same old (bleep) in a diffrent day
so ill just keep smiling like its all okay

its so sad when the worlds this cold
where no one cares if you let go
but dont give up
just ignore the pain
just close your eyes
and melt with the rain

i'm not sure i like the way this poem flows and i don't see much rhymn it is still a good poem just not my favourtie of yours

I liked this...it reminds me of a rainy day, if that makes any sense, and I can just relate to it so well...
