Defence I’m careless and I’m reckless And I’m not afraid to bend I’ll tear your heart to pieces To ensure my own defense I won’t take you along If you’ll just let go Figure out I’m not for you And cry yourself to sleep I’m healing myself And I won’t let my guard down At least not today Everything’s rigid and cold My protection is seeing That you are a marked threat So I’ll avoid you or destroy you Make your choice I’m careless and I’m reckless And I’m not afraid to bend I’ll tear your heart to pieces To ensure my own defense "I thought I'd just mention in passing . . .
