Each night it starts all over again.
My world falls apart as i forget how to be.
Each night my heart breaks and it mends.
I want it but I just can't bring myself to leave.

Every moon ready to run.
my bag is packed for the dead of night,
can't leave yet-must meet the sun.
I put it off -my desperate flight

I can't handle being me.
A job too big for me to quit.
Not sure what I want to be.
I want a break-just for a bit.

I hurt and I almost don't know why.
The pain encasing me all over-I can't get out.
My tears blind my eyes-useless to cry.
its harder when I don't know what its about.

waiting for the pain to pass,
but that stops working when I consciously can play that game.
where it makes the rules i come last.
waiting is impossible for its infinite my pain.

watching others hurt while I am not
makes me feel unworthy of my ignorant bliss.
cruelty -i seek whats been sought
I know perfectly the good traits that i miss.

people only see my image in the way that i want.
my words-me cause pain while i know i am.
cruelty and manipulating aren't talents to flaunt.
my retorts cut deepest-I know i can.

people speak of a place they can go
where it doesn't hurt no more.
after all this time- I still don't know.
It's not numb- I'm just heart sore

where is this place that everyone else can find?
I can't go from my troubles-they're inside.
hidden from my hurt i want a place that's just mine.
Is it too much to ask? for a place to hide.

I loved this!! I can relate so well...this is one of my favorite by you

So no more hiding all your pain, you deserve a new start. That's why i'm closing myself away, this is a message from your heart.
