Listen to me

Listen to me.
I am one-hundred years of experience,
Listen to me.
I am what’s right and what’s wrong,
Listen to me.
I will steer you from your transgressions,
Listen to me.
I am a talking book of lessons,
Listen to me.
Whatever you’re going through, I went through twice,
Listen to me before this record stops playing.
Listen to me before you start playing.
Sit and listen to what I am saying,
Whoops! I’m gone, dead.

You better start praying.

Dedicated to my Grandpa

So true We don't ever wanna listen until it's too late. Nice poem, i enjoyed.

So no more hiding all your pain, you deserve a new start. That's why i'm closing myself away, this is a message from your heart.
