I will always have the memories
To remind me of the things I knew
Of the people that grew
In this secluded haven
As I say my final goodbye
To the place I once loved
Now in the sanctuary of my mind
I pull on the images
To remind me of the places
I once visited
Here is where I experienced my firsts
The place I scrapped my knee
Where I danced my hardest
Laughed my hardest
With all my friends
But now it only brings tears
To the eyes I once used
Seeing the beauty that was hidden
To all but me
It will forever be a mystery
For now on
I go blind

That's so sad! I enjoyed it though Nice write.
