World of Doubt

I wrote this thru the thoughts of my wife and what she is trying to get thru to me. She doesn't believe that I truly understand where she is coming from and what her feelings are. I hope with this maybe she can see I do.

You say your going to change
But you haven't before
Don't you see it's hard to believe
I just can't take anymore

My hearts been broken in two
Our bond's been shoved out the door
Why don't you see, what you've done to me
I've heard it all before

I want to believe
That my life means everything
To the one I love and the one I need
I can't live this way
Even though I want to stay
I just can't make it through
Knowing I have been there for you
And all that you've done is thrown it about
If I were to stay with you
All I'd be doing
Is living, in a world of doubt

Sometimes I have to break away
And think just what I want and need
I've got to be true to myself
And beieve in what I need

My dreams of life
Are important to me
Do you know who I am
and who I want to be

I want to believe
That my life means everything
To the one I love and the one I need
I can't live this way
Even though I want to stay
I just can't make it through
Knowing I have been there for you
And all that you've done is thrown it about
If I were to stay with you
All I'd be doing
Is living, in a world of doubt

Don't say to me that your gonna change
Words I can't believe
It's your actions, I need to see

I want to believe
That my life means everything
To the one I love and the one I need
I can't live this way

Only at night you can see the depth of the sun

Well, dear Richard, I think you made it clear with this heartfelt, emotional write. You want, but you can't, in other words you don't believe her when she says she will change.
It's sad not to be believed. I do hope you will give her a chance to try.

How about forgiving and beginning anew?
