I'm a child chasing a butterfly,
with naked and empty hands.
My little monarch
has just flown above and into
what would be a mighty fine netting distance.

I'll be quite alright,
fingering the cities beneath and between
the blades of kentucky blue grass.
I'll watch you flutter on your merry way

and enjoy the midday sun.

Enjoy your trip to Mexico. It's a lovely place, full of wonerful people, and butterflies.

Stevey wonder-man, thanks much sir, It's really nice to have someone follow my poems, and enjoy them. I was pretty proud of this piece considering it just sort of vomited itself onto a piece of paper.
