Tones of Rose Warm rain tempts Fourteen, the day February picked Nuthatch, once the color king, curiously shifts Closer to the glass, scratch of branch sings wooden chime Peering intently upon red and white blooms Preface of spring scents soft the rooms Snow still melts, where heaped by the winter wind Collecting drink in worn cups of wisdom Nuthatch drops to drink, uncertain of the chilly glazes prism Be sure, February seems not certain anymore Closer to the glass, scratch of branch sings wooden chime Another look, warm rain tempts Not yet, not yet But spring begins in the thaw of the human heart Copyright Kkh 2/13/09 |

Beautifully written and this line .... ----------------------------------------------- Closer to the glass, scratch of branch sings wooden chime ----------------------------------------------- GOLDEN ... love the way you repeated it and then to finish it with the wisdom line .... ----------------------------------------------- But spring begins in the thaw of the human heart --------------------------------------------- Excellent. |

Kathleen, I am patiently waiting for Spring. I noticed yesterday, that my tulips have sprung from the ground. |
