It’s eight P.M.
The old man walks his dog
every night at eight P. M.

Little Bones is out
running around
on the sidewalk.

Bones always was
an active child.

Bones runs right past
the old man and the dog.

The dog doesn’t like people
running at him from behind.
He reaches out and bites Bones
in the backside,
tearing a hole in Bones pants.

“Yo Mister,
your dog friggin bit me.
Now I’m going to have to go home,
and tell my Mom.

Bones never did
go home and tell Mom.

It wouldn’t have done him
any good anyway.

Bones is never one
to rat anything out anyway.

Bones, the old man,
and the dog developed
a good friendship
with each other.

A very pleasing story, Bobby. I remember that being bit by a dog was big news in the hood of my youth. Brings back lots of nice memories.

Bobby - yikes, seems like Bones is ok after the bite. Brings back memories when that darn dog bit me for no reason...

Thanks Bill,

Yes, Bones was lucky, and didn't catch rabies or tetanus from the bite.

I think many of us have been bitten by dogs. It was a good clean dog.
