beyond the valley of whispering walkers there are shadows there wearing trees and so they speak of the amiga woman how she is the morning in sky shimmers they talk of her laughter as a river bringing life to the stones that sleep how she leans over them as children and presses her breasts to their chill she is the maker of moan song medicine from her eyes come the love waters and she wets her fingers in saliva to write sooth sounds on statue mouths tomorrows are the arrows of her quivering her bow seeks the hands of a gentle warrior to bend her beyond her familiar seclusion and guide her beyond the echoes of forbidden beyond the valley of whispering walkers _______________ daark (circle of palms series) |
