Let my passion’s burning flame Gutter in the closing night Let no star ever shine again A nightscape bereft of light Let my heartbeat deaden and still As my life’s blood becomes as ice Never to be quickened until True love becomes a sacrifice Let the ocean of my soul Wracked with grief be torn asunder Let compassion that makes me whole Be torn apart by wrath of thunder Let the ink of my weary pen Dry away to ebon dust Let no one read these lines of pain Let a silver tongue become as rust Let my serenade of sorrow Face the trial of deaf ears As falling November snow Melts away to tears Never sigh for a better world, it's already composed, played and told. |

It's ok. I'm writing from past experiences, at the moment things are good. But I think we all carry a serenade of sorrow. Never sigh for a better world, it's already composed, played and told. |

We all stop, once in a while, and reflect on the past. Sad and otherwise. Writing helps the mood we are in for that day. Some of my sad days I look back and try to remember the fun times that I would not have missed for the world. Good Jobber Hugs BonBon aka The Chocolate Monster |
