A Beautiful Place. There is a butterfly fluttering quite near And a girl with long blond flowing hair She stops and smiles in my direction She looks like glass looking in a reflection, There are fields of flowers everywhere They smell so sweet their perfume fills the air I walk through them like floating along I can hear the birds sing there soothing song, I feel so peaceful like I wanted to stay The grass beside me begins to sway As I awake I feel so calm and serene Its the most beautiful place I have ever been, I rise to go and look back in my direction There I am I can see my reflection, A hand reaches out and I take hold, Come on said a voice it's time to go home, Annie, 13-7-2008 |

I especially enjoyed the imagery in the first stanza. The second wasn't bad either, but I would have liked more detail, perhaps as simple as knowing what flowers they are, so I can smell their perfume too Mark |
