"The Avenue" ...And I don't need you to say you love me if you really don't Because I love you anyway These are my thoughts as I drive down the avenue I always see you in my mind I get a feeling in heart when I think about you Love doesn't know what time is I'm just a man with nothing in my pockets A lot on my brain And a umbrella just incase it rains Brainstorms about love can cause bad weather I see lovers walking down the street Wondering if that could be you and me How soon is too soon Shall I wait a year Or until the next full moon When the feeling is real Why wait? I don't need anybody or any length of time to cosign how I feel Because I'm going to feel what I feel either way But… I don't need you to say you love me if you really don't Because I love you anyway These are my thoughts as I drive down the avenue |
