Every once in a while I’ll happen upon someone from the old settlement house crowd. The subject of Bones invariably pops up. There’s nothing anyone can say bad about him. No, nothing bad is ever said about our Bones. It allows us to feel his presence for a short period of time. It always makes us smile. Bobby |

"the evil men do lives after them; the good is oft interred with their bones" As I read your poem, Mark Antony's speech in Julius Caesar came to mind. Bones and good luck were complete strangers to one another, but he's remembered with smiles... that says a lot about the heart of him. *S* |

Thanks dear Suthern, Yes, I think Bones did have a good heart. Our settlement house crowd woulld remember Bones with smiles. That's the way we we're, we depended a lot on each other in so many ways. Bobby |
