Bones Early School Days

Bones wakes up in the morning,
has his glass of tomato juice,
and then starts for school.

It’s about a quarter mile walk.
He’ll fight with other kids
all the way to the school.

Then the teacher
will pick on him
all morning.

Then he’ll fight his way back home
to eat lunch,
eat an onion stalk
to make his breath smell bad,
fight his way back to school.

Then the teachers
will pick on him
all afternoon.

Then he’ll fight his way back home.
Bones hates everything about school.

Poor Bones.

No wonder he has to be tough or he wouldn't survive.

Thanks Eric,

Bones would have loved to have done that. However, back in those grade school days, all the teachers were much bigger than he was.

For the kind words. I'm pleased you can relate. I think it's a fairly common school day in an urban enviroment such as ours.
