Yo Bill, This is a good picture and poem. The lilacs will be back in the Spring. At least here in the north. Bobby |

Bill This is one of your best. The picture is magnificant, and words have so much meaning. Your bush will bloom again in the spring and the love will come back into your heart. Ariana |

Ah! The beautiful Lilac. I have in my yard white and purple and waiting for the warmth of spring to smell her beauty. I have a picture of the white Lilac during a rain storm and she looks like a mound of snow in a storm. May I copy your picture for my library of beauty? Good Jobber BonBon ![]() |

Bill, maybe this happens so that we learn to appreciate the loving of life and all it has to offer. Just a thought, sending you a hug. ![]() M |

One of the loveliest things about lilacs is that we somehow retain their sweet smell in our minds and hearts, even when they're not in bloom - yet we're always rejuvenated when they return to grace our gardens.. ![]() |

Dear Bill, a gorgeous picture and touchingly beautiful words! Makes me want to reach out with a big hug. Lilacs remind me of my childhood, yes their fragrance can't be forgotten! In an attempt of recreating a "lilac atmosphere" I bought a perfume with that scent, but can't get no satisfaction!! It's not the same! Love, Margherita ![]() |

Bobby - Yes, the lilacs will be back in the spring, this is a good thing. Thanks again for your reply... Ariana - you are a lovely lady, and your words have much meaning. Thanks for reading, and for always your gracious replies... Bonnie j - I would love to see your yard with white and purple lilacs. They have a smell of beauty that's all their own. Yes, please feel free to copy this for your library. If it can't be copied please email me and I'll send you the poem with graphic if you wish... ethome - Yes, always the cycle of life. Thank you once again for reading my work... steavenr - I must admit it does take a while to get the graphics and poem together. But, I believe well worth the effort. Thanks for the reply... nakdthoughts - yes, I do agree. Things happen in life so one can appreciate the loving of life, and more, especially one that will always be in this heart... Nan - Nice to see you, and thank you for the thoughts about this writing. I love the lilac, but also other flowers such as the rose, which to me is a flower of romance. The smell of the lilac in the spring is, well, just sweet... Martie - thanks for taking the time to come by and read my writing, and for the reply. Always nice to see you... James - thanks James, it's appreciated... inkedgoddess - always a goddess with your words in your reply. Thanks for being so gracious... Suncleaver - I'm glad this poem touched you, for when it does it makes it worth all the time taken to write it and put it together. Thanks for the comments... Margherita - a big hug to you. A'hhh, springtime brings the smell of the lilacs and more. I can't wait for that moment... Linda - I can't express what your words mean to me. Bill Charles loves lilacs, and treasures your words... Marc-Andre - your words humble me. I'm glad that you enjoy my poetry, and wish you the best... |

If you have changed, it's to have become even more sensitive and empathetic... and that does leave one as susceptible to ache as the blossom is to frost... but also as beautiful. *S* This is gorgeous!! |

What a caring and sensitive man to see such beauty in things. And then to put it into words just as lovely. You're a good man Bill, and a kind hearted soul! ![]() |
