Bones First Impression Of The House Parlor |

Mother led Bones into the house parlor. For Bones it was an astonishing and beautiful sight. The room gave the impression of being white. Crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling. The room was filled with light. The furniture was white, and all the ladies sitting there were beautiful, dressed in white party dresses, with smiling, friendly faces. Bright imitation diamond necklaces hung around their beautiful, long necks. Gold rings adorned their fingers. They welcomed Mother and me, as if we were old friends. At least that’s the way it appeared to Bones. He was only eight, and easily impressed. Bobby |

Oh the glitter of the brothel but the after effects leave the heart lonely and a slave to oneself..... Easy to see how Bones could be impressed at that age. Eric |

Thanks Eric, I prefer to call it a "house". The word "brothel" sounds so unrefined. Bobby |

He he well, we're not talking about the girls that went through the same engineering course you did Bobby Though some of the girls that you went to college with might have been just as bad......(smile)...... Old traditional word might be a better description maybe. Take care Eric |

Thanks Eric, No, we're talking about my mother. Bones went to the University of Pennsylvania on a scholarship. Perhaps you would prefer "Wh**e House", that's what they used to be called when I was growing up. My mother was a wonderful woman who took good care of me, and treated me great. She was very wise, and good. Bobby [This message has been edited by Robert E. Jordan (01-24-2009 12:49 AM).] |

Sorry, in no way did I mean to insult you and yours. What's fictitious and real cross over sometimes. I appreciate the ongoing saga of Bones. Take care Eric |

Thanks dear Owl, As i remember it, there was nothing sad about it. It was a good night, and mother and I slept well. I'll write one that I think is very sad. Love Bobby |

Bobby - ah, the house... It would leave an impression on Bones at a young age, but then again Bones is very mature for his age... BC |

Thanks Bill, Bones was always an intelligent child. However, at eight he wasn't all that mature. He found the bright lights and all the pretty ladies in their white dresses quite amazing. Bobby |
