Today
I thought of you
Wondering
Just how it would be

When my lips touch yours
for the first time
Would it be breathtaking
Would it make you mine

Would my knees buckle
Could they? Should they?
Or would my heart
Stop on a dime

Would it be a kiss for all ages
Or like in my dreams
Would it be like in the movies
shown on the silver screen

Honestly, I don't know
And why would I care
as long as it's yours against mine
in a place and time, that we share
