In The Arms Of The Angels I was there at the start of your precious life I loved you, and comforted you with loving care Every ounce, of my love was pored into you No one, could hurt you as long as I was there The years flew by and you grew so tall Every year, was more precious than the last. But something, was wrong and you began to fade You became, Very week and so ill so fast I know, you are in the arms of the angels The angels, love you Just the same as i do They hold you, lovingly as only a mother could But I will, always know that, i have the soul of you, Annie, 25-08-2008 [This message has been edited by Anniepimm (01-16-2009 04:51 AM).] |

This is a wonderful but very sad write. There isn't anything to compare to a mother's love or the joy a child can bring. Very touching...  |

Annie, you have suffered the supreme loss ~ the physical loss of your child who lives on in the loving arms of God's angels. My sister lost an 18 year old son, an infant daughter daughter, and was knocked over by a hit-and-run driver as she was walking down a sidewalk when she was 7 months pregnant with twins ~ which she tragically lost. I have seen up very close, the pain of losing a child. My sister's losses were painful losses for me as well. However, I know that it still cannot compare to the pain of losing your own child that you once carried beneath your beating heart for nine months. My deepest sympathies ~ and respect for your strength and your ability to turn your pain into such tender, soul-touching poetry. Giving you a loving, compassionate hug, Linda  |
