your eyes gave me your answer early then
like there were boards off the wall of you
and something chilly was being a breeze
making your woman places want my arms

just part time, and friendly you suggested
but you had longer moments in your glances
like it was something permanent like paint
and you wanted more then just one coating

you left the windows open on your soft sighed
and acted like proper didn't really suit you
but you were afraid to know my hard reality
or how my hands would fit around your fragile

storms are always more lovely when left indoors
when lovers can take the time to savor them
wearing their residue like wallpaper over nothing
then pressing together to remove their wrinkles

before night comes to bend them over stone again

"but you were afraid to know my hard reality
or how my hands would fit around your fragile"

And sometimes hard reality fits like strength much needed by weakness.

Enjoyed.

D

I am not sure that anyone writes of longing the way you do.  You so understand the two sides of many women (and men too?) - the "proper" that you often refer to - and the grittier side.  You realize, understand, and (I think) love that dichotomy.

Thank you again for touching my senses.

Is this where I stoop to the "You quack me up!" line - or should I mutter, "Duck" instead and think of invitations?

The title caught my attention... and I'm so glad it did. *S* Soft, sensual, gritty, gripping... your pen writes a rollercoaster I can't wait to ride again. *S*
