My eyes hurt, My arms are tired, My body screams for rest, My brain was left somewhere this morning, But the work still isn’t done. While my body craves for sleep, The animals just won’t keep, They can’t feed themselves, Or clean their stalls, Though God knows that would be nice. Ranch work is never done, It’s doomed to make me old, Well before my prime, But I wouldn’t trade it, Only God knows why. So, for the hundredth time today, I climb back on my trusted friend, Never does he complain, Of the work needing done, Maybe I should take a few lessons from him.. "Not everyone can be heros. Someone has to sit on the curb and clap as they pass by." Will Rogers |

It would be nice if they could take care of themselves, and maybe they can and they're just fooling us all... Enjoyed your write. |
