Ubiquitous,
I encompass you
with a halo
put into place
by tender hands.
Tender, clean fingers
that bend just so.

Scarred knuckles,
from fights
that shouldn't have happened.
Palms and fingers,
covered in calluses
that will never fade.

Proud veins
that have stood out
in stress,
in strain.
Proud veins
that will stand out
until they hang me upside down,
knock me out,
and bleed me dry.

Yo Paul,

You're an old slaughter house guy, ain't you.

It's better to knock them out first, it's more humane, and easier.

I'll have to post some of my old slaughterhouse poems.

Bobby

Bobby... Cool. I've seen cows killed before, yes. Glad you got something out of it.

My Dear SEA... Call them strong if you want, but I think they're just plain old hands. You know, attached to my forearms, five fingers each, etc.

Sometimes having gentleness within your strength is the only way to show how humane you are..

Enjoyed...

I like how the gentle in you meshes with the strength of you.

Hi,
I like this -a fight to live, to understand things, to be unconcerned of critique. Egos have the biggest callouses!
