(No Matter) How Hard We Try

When morning sun comes
April rain awaken
The morning light
Tomorrow is on the way
Tomorrow is another day
(No matter) how hard we try
To bring ourselves
Into a bright light
Racing my mind too
Through the wind
Calling out every word I say
Falling down
To the day
(No matter) how hard we try
It doesn't matter
Think of the days
that brought you happiness
Think of the ways
To follow your heart
(no matter) how hard we try
Touch my heart
With laughter and keep me safe and sound
Keep me warm and tender
How hard we try
To pull together
How hard we cry
It doesn't matter
Keep a faith In God
And everything will be alright
How hard we try.....

Yes, Vandana, in this short but challenging life we do try hard but we would never succeed if we didn't.
