I know what you mean! Mind you, I think that we ultimately live the life that we were supposed to live. If I had made different choices way back when, then some of the good things in my life would not have come to pass. As for the difficult aspects of my life ~ I deal with them ~ and as for my blessings, I am eternally grateful! lol Life is sort of a mixed bag! I am sure that many of us have run similar thoughts through our mind as you have expressed in your poem!  I like the YOU that I see!  (Besides ~ Who needs all the hassles of being president of the United States?!?, for example. lol) Linda |

I think I got it ... when we accept what we are we are at peace. Certainly such thoughts cross the mind of all sooner or later. You expressed this well! Maybe, just maybe, we may have another chance in another life ... but I also think that we have done what we were meant to do in the here and now. Love, Margherita |
