*** Water play *** Velvety emerald waters bubble alluring temptations. Sun inspired words tremble upon wiggling wave-toes. I stand intrigued at the vain shoreline. Leisurely it offers its bare skin to the constant caressing of daring sea fingers, releasing silent sighs into the air. With half closed eyes I let my brain engage in deciphering the poem - a poem it is I know! – which dances its crazy dance, fragmented in puzzle pieces, upon the sparkling surface of the playful liquid vastness. Blindfolded by the sun, with the intermediation of my heart on high alert, I feel the wet words touch my thirsty lips. From there they swiftly slip into my consciousness. Then I just do as I am told, for my love knows no hesitation. My toes meet yours in the underwater world. We move like sinuous algae and disappear within each other. The elements gather in wild celebration of our desire. Never our merging had been so cool, for naturally ... the poem was about fire. *** |

Margherita - dang, this has to be the best poem of yours I've read. So different from what I've seen, and I like the style, and underneath romance it radiants. Great write... BC |
