Bones didn’t pick
the life he’s led.

He didn’t buy it
at the store.

It was handed to him
by fate,
economics,
accident of birth,
the local,
and by just plain chance.

So if you don’t like
what Bones does
to stay alive,
don’t blame him,
it’s not his fault,
it’s just the way it is.

I don't buy it because I think we all have choices. But, I think Bones is interesting - and no, I have not walked in his shoes. And honestly? I wouldn't want to.

You are correct, and Bones knows that. He's very good at cards, and used to earn his keep playing poker. He never cheated though.

I don't think our Bobby would ever cheat. Bones is too nice a guy under all that talk.

Bobby - perhaps this all happened to Bones, but he does have a choice, he can make things better, but only if he feels it inside...
