Dowd Angels come to us in dreams, in colours vivid and moods serene. They may appear as a flash of light, or sparkles dancing ~ be it day or night. Coloured mists fall from Above, as angels wrap us in their love. They may appear as orbs of light, glowing in your photos bright, And often when we gaze at sky, an angel cloud goes flying by. Lights that flicker, clocks that stop, objects moving, sounds that pop, Feathers falling, lost things appear, are ways the Angels say they're here. Open up your eyes and see, all God's angels that there be. Gossamer wings and halos glowing, appear to those who have the knowing. Angelic Beings in grand profusion, surround us all ~ 'Tis no illusion. . |

Linda, I love this poem for many reasons - hearing you read your poetry always makes it more special to me. Plus, your meter is perfection always. But, in this one, I love how you explain the ways that angels might appear in our lives. You take the practical and give us divine magic. That is one thing that I love about you. Alison |

Linda, your poem is as beautiful as the music which is as beautiful as your voice which is as beautiful as you are, inside and out. You are one of the most gracious angels I have ever known. The recording is soooooo professional (but simultaneously so warm and human) with the music just the right volume to enhance your voice, but not overpower it. The caressing tone of your voice could rock babies (and people of all ages) to sleep, so harmonious it is, even if they didn't understand a word of English. I am so glad that you combine your artisitic talents into a glorious entity so often (and that includes your paintings). You are truly a most gifted person, and we are so lucky that you share your gifts with us. Owl |

Oh, and I forgot to say that, like Alison, my favourite part is how the angels let us know they are there. You left out that one of them lets us know she is there by writing poetry and putting her voice recording to music and posting it in Pip! Smiles. Owl |

Suthern One ~ I know exactly what you mean! Angels are all around us just waiting for us to ask for help and guidance. They play a major role in my life and of those of my children. Whenever we invoke our angels ~ They are there at the ready and jump into action. Time and time again! I truly should write another book with that as the subject. Venerable One ~ It truly is amazing all the ways that the angels try to communicate with us. Some are downright comical! A few years ago, I had visited a town that was known to have a wonderful Angel Store. While walking down the Main Street looking for the shop, a white feather fell from the sky, brushed my nose, and then landed at my feet. I stopped, picked it up, and voila! ~ There was the angel store right next to me! It was the same Angel store where, last year, I purchased that angel that is in my pip photo!
