She never knew how to look the other way Taking what she could They talked about her often Beautiful girl The rumors quickly spread Who's she going home with? That's all she ever was to them Beautiful girl She cried herself to sleep Pain is her escape No one saw her through this Beautiful girl She feels so ugly Misguided and corrupt Used and abused, they never cared Beautiful girl They tell her lies To make her smile She has a gorgeous smile Beautiful girl She can't take it anymore She tells them this And still they talk amongst themselves Beautiful girl She falls apart Bleeds it out Until she stops breathing Beautiful girl Whered she go? How sad it seems this is widespread this type of story there are so many desperate people that never get listened to I like this poem it's very cleverly written and wonderfully penned...  |
