Setting My Heart Free Whenever I feel down on my luck I jump into my old pickup truck and take a slow ride into the countryside; where I can be alone not far from home where soothing winds blow and the wild pigs roam, where the bamboo trees sing softly to me, singing their song to set my heart free. Thank you James, this is a very fine poem with very accurate emotions. I wrote a poem that said something like that last year. Go seek it The true life exists, gulls which fished , I saw them this morning, some swans accompanied them, migratory birds of feelings, a white egret too… To look at them took me away from my thoughts, yes the true life exists in some kilometres of the fermented human relationships… I breath…. it is not exactly the same feelings and thoughts but you poem made me think of it. regards yann |

Yo James, Be careful of those wild pigs. I'd hate to see them get hold of you, and eat you up. Have a nice truck ride. Bobby |

James, I like this one a lot. I love old pickup trucks and I would love to see bamboo trees. Alison |

We all need such a place... and while the settings might differ, it's the feeling that's important. *S* I like this very much! *S* |
