You alone know how to fight
The demons inside,
Fight for your life
For you can no longer hide.

It will not be easy
And it will hurt to find,
The forgotten pain
Stored deep in your mind.

Look farther than before
Beyond your fears,
Fight the skeletons
And dry your tears.

Open wide your heart
And let it grow,
The pain will subside
And your mind will know.

Your soul holds deep
The dreams you long to pursue,
You must clear your path
Before they come true.

Step by step as you find
Who, and what you can be,
The dark will become light
And set your heart free.

Wow! I like the messages in your poetry. This is very true - at some point, we have to let the stuff go that is holding us back. Good poem. I hope more peek in to read it.
