What should I say, what oft' repeated open vein- of sorrows that remain in every breath catching in my throat with overuse… of questing eyes that spin to every shadow thinking I might catch a glimpse of you… of voice, selected phrase and nuance ripe with your inflection, basal sound… of emptiness that threatens me with dark, a known illusion's foul oblivion. But even still, through every one of those- the ever present sense of light streams over me and will not be denied… the wind's caress that leads this wanderer home to truth that glistens on all I believe… the clouds aloft that sail before my eyes, absorbing heart-drenched pain and moves away... the song that arcs in freedom as it flies and rises, tender swoon of sacred love... All a part and parcel of my life the fall of night and morning's gentle rise. |
