Lessons From A Tree

today under the shade
of a mighty tree
smiling I found
only small branches
hold the leaves

"I'm so hard to handle
I'm selfish and I'm sad."
— Joni Mitchell

Damn...what's neat about you is that these aren't just your poems, these are your thoughts..

And, what did you think of that?
What life conclusions do you deduct?

My take on your thoughts:  It is all the small pieces that make the best part of the package.

Nice.

This has tremendous strength for such a short poem. The nucleus for myriads of expanding thoughts.
