distant inconsistant
riding the arrow's plane
arouse in quiver insecurity

the times of mann but inkings
tributes to the drinking gods
that died before their legends

ghostrider momentary on brick
I remember my eyes moved across
and to the end of his journey road

though he had been there before
he didn't see it around the bend
his distance was at arm's length

while mine was the memory width of canvas
_______________

daark (owgish stuff, david mann was a scooter art gentleman that rode in the area for awhile..some of us still hook up to do a nod on certain summerday afternoons.

This is more than a nod... it's a hat's off moment of remember. *S* Excellent write!

ms mar...the ghostrider is one of the biker art pieces done by David Mann...it is on a wall in Dallas and if you stand in the right place you can see the cematary around the corner from the wall...was/is a standing irony to those of us who ride and who knew him.  Thanks babe

Yes, I had done a google research and found it. I share it here, it's an awesome painting.
Thank you D. for the reply. That cemetery detail makes its collocation impressive ...

I have heard the name but never knew where it came from or was about.  Now I do.  Thanks for the tutoring and for a fine tribute to read.
