What do you want from me? You say you feel that I don't share I'll say, " I'm sorry that you're unhappy" , but really, I don't care. Enjoy your feelings of unhappiness. I know you know you do. And if you think you do NOT enjoy, I know you enjoy that too. What do you want from me? Ignoring you is not my intention. For me to intentionally ignore you... would mean I've paid too much attention. What do you want from me? I cannot ease your mind. What you reject or you embrace, is up to you to find. What do you want from me? I have nothing to give. I would have to give you condemnation, in order to forgive. I know that you are helpless. So, there's no need to wonder why I do not try to help you and feel no need to try. What do you want from me? I have nothing to give. I can only help you die. I cannot help you live. and... I can only help you die, by removing life from you. Once your life has been removed, there is no Death to rue. What do you want from me? I do not give a hope or damn. No matter what you think you think, you are that which I am. What do you want from me? *** |

Life is full of choices and what we make of it. However cliche it sounds there really isn't any way around it. IMHO good poem~ |

quote: You know, these two lines are so powerful in their truth. There are times that people suck into their unhappiness and find it hard to climb out again. This poem really shows the frustration of being with such a person. No matter what is wanted - it's only wanted until it's attained. Then, too often, it's on to the next want, the next need. You got me thinking with this one. A |

"What do you want from me? Ignoring you is not my intention. For me to intentionally ignore you... would mean I've paid too much attention." Not to say this is the only good verse, because damn, it isn't. I loved this poem, because it was insane with truth. Very good writing, indeed. |

I read the title, and before I clicked on it, I thought: "Whaddya got?" You answered the question. And there's a difference between "mean" and direct. You are direct. And that saves a lotta time... enjoyed |

Whew! Not sure how to respond. Why don't people plain and simply just care about each other these days? One can't do for or give to another most of the things you speak about but just to care ... oh, maybe the caring hurts us too much and that's why we don't. The world's a bad place. We are bad and selfish people and even when we try so hard not to be there still are those times when we are. Yeah - how the other is. Hard hitting poem with a punch of reality. Helen |
