While I was away
the rose foretold
the morning's reason
the fields surpassed
all expectation
the wrens rewove
on last Springs
greenlands, the soil
was tilled, the winds
blew seedlings,
the clouds collapsed
the nights were ringing

the meadows blued
with lovers' grieving

the dreams recurred
in shadows leaving

while I was away

I lost a season.

I ..know how that feels, and it almost makes you feel totally lost. Time is so etched upon us, and missing a season makes it all messed up.
