Buried too deep Spring has come and come again Without warmth penetrating My protective shell Bloom is but a dream Rot should have claimed, withered Delicate shoots of green impertinence Into dusty brown But here I am And I swear I feel the sun |

The trilliums popped up yesterday, and they are pretty smart. I think there's hope for warmth very soon! |

suthern - I thought this to be a poetic gem. Like a seed covered by earth hoping for sun, each of us when covered by the daily grinds of life looks for some sun and its warmth to regenerate. Thanks for your deft poetic hand creating a beauty. Loved it Namyh |
