Lost in your eyes

You used to captivate me
By your resonating light.

Now I'm lost in your shadow,
away from holding arms.

Wanting what use to be,
now just out of grasp.

I love the opening lines from "Evanescence - My Immortal" the poem has a beautiful longing to it...
