In town, the sheriff represented the law with a 6 pointed star. He enforced it with his trusted 6 shooter. When they bury you, you're buried 6 feet under and there are 6 pallbearers to carry the casket. The American flag has 6 white stripes between seven red ones. There are 6 coins in our money base-penny,nickel, dime, quarter, half dollar and the dollar. We speak in 6 tenses-past, present, future, past perfect, present perfect and future perfect. There are 6 vowels- a , e, i, o, u and sometimes "y". There are 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour and 360 degrees in a circle. And when you get off work, you go and buy your 6-pack. You go home and plop down in front of the 6 sided box called a TV. You click the remote so you don't miss the 6 o'clock news. And when the newscaster's words bristle the hairs on the back of your neck, your 6th sense stands on end as you rotate on a planet that races around the Sun at 66,600 miles per hour ! This "is" the Land of the Beast and you are in his house. Welcome home ! Namyh |

y'forgot one. By age six, in the United States, a child must be enrolled in either a state or private learning facility...with a mandated/government approved state test to ensure that each child is educated according. Oh. I didn't think that was a bad thing...*chuckle* But okay. I just thought I'd throw a pine cone in the fire. I knew a guy once, who paid his tab at a convenience store and his chamge came to exactly $6.66. He told them to keep it. The cashier said no thanks. Eventually, the total was voided, and my friend bought a candy bar. None of this makes any sense, but the story made me smile.  Enjoyed. |

serenity blaze – So glad this put a smile on ya. Thanks for the additional info. Here’s another one of 6 – We usually spend U.S. paper currency consisting of the ONE dollar bill, the FIVE , the TEN , the TWENTY , the FIFTY and the ONE-HUNDRED dollar bill.
