I am absent. I am here.
Tell me, do you feel my fear?
I'm listening too hard to hear:
"I see," said the psychiatrist.

Absentia, and yet I'm here.

I pretend that pretense works.
I feel desire as I die.
I touch me, and I startle her.
Come to me, my little bird,
fly and sing--rejoice your sky!
Dizzy dancing in twilight--
I am absent. I am here.

I know that cycles must be so.
"As above, it's so below."
I search for us, in my pillow.
I think I try too hard
and hope, I'll learn to let it be "just so"

as I am absent--I am--here.

It's hard to breathe in mandorla...

Don't look at the map, m'dear.
It is not there.
It is not here.
I am...intangible.

I hope that almond shape is just from the words and nothing else.....I mean your call of course......(smile)

Love this perspective sweet Celeste but you'll always be beautifully tangible to me.

Take care and this piece is a wonderful heart release.

"Just so" can be just fine.

Tell me, do you feel my fear?

I paused on that line, thinking... yup, I do. *S* Then I tumbled gloriously through the rest... for an intangible, you sure do pack a wondrous punch. *S*

effective 'write' ! ...

especially those of us who struggle with 'depersonalization'/'derealization'
disorder likely will find the most meaning in (and 'connection' to):

"I am absent. I am here.
Tell me, do you feel my fear?(!)"

applause for this 'penning' !!

Thanks.

I was really trying to convey that dissociative feeling that I get from time to time, so if that's what came through, then I'm happy.

Kaoru, you're so sweet, I like to hug my old friends particularly, so just for you and the mini-goddess, an extra hug.

Now, if you'll pardon me, I have the sniffles. And at this moment in time, you can actually clear a check out line just by coughing and sneezing.

tsk...evil, am I? *wink*

Greets, m'witch

I see this challenge is making another round

I see, also, that karenity "is", as always, ever-ready to flash a glance behind the towel.

I think in all I wrote, my most truthful words were written in the couple "I am" poems I did.

You do know I love you, right?

And chuckling...I've written so many of these "I am" poems, one would think I would be well-defined by now.

No six pack for me...gimme a suitcase though, and I am...so outta here! *laughing*

Actually, I AM writing..

I've been writing ALL of our elected representatives, local, state, federal) and telling them just how very disappointed in them I am.

Gadfly? Nah, I'm just P.O'd at them lot of them.

My new mantra is...."Re-Elect NO ONE!!!!"

and, ummm, "Molon Labe"

Red flags?....I guess I got me some

Nod.

I'm thinking of investing in a pressed-tin ceiling. (Low level electronic emissions, yanno) *chortle*

and your goddess-daughter is turning 18, on MOTHER'S DAY.

(She actually wants to have a creative party--making tin foil hats!)

Dear Karen, this has me almost dancing because I love this kind of being and not being (while being on other levels of consciousness I guess!). You have just caught a great rhythm of existence.

You are unique and always a treat!

Love and hugs.

Karen,

I always feel like nothing I say can measure up to the poetry that I read of yours.  In my silence - I am loving the way you use words, create feelings and take me to another place.

I read silently.
