Angelic Light

Ever faithful to one another
As we pass these happy hours
As we meet in love tonight
Sweetest harmony will be ours

Enveloping the time to sit and reflect
All the times that we try; to respect
Leaving the confines of our warm protection
And sit upon a moments reflection..

Here in the burden of our own self-worth
We see what we have become
Islands of our own making
As our long journey has begun

There is no sunshine until you smile
Your eyes light up any dark shadow
Beam of light! please stay with me
And ease all my forgotten sorrow.
