"nothing"
Time stands still
as the tears fall
silent
lonely
never to be seen
a smile to cover the pain
a shattered heart lies still
never beating
scattered
lost forever
only tears may move
through this empty space
evermore reminding me
of the nothing
that I am

It's too bad I'm not as wonderful a person as people say I am, because the world could use a few people like that.

no one is ever nothing~~

I have felt this way before and it subsides when you get your thoughts going a different direction.

Been there. Done that. Not a very pleasant place to be ~ as you have very well illustrated.
