Fire on the old hearth Fire on the old hearth which she wants to be in her next birth burns slowly; a smell rises through the chimney like fingers of time she has spent waiting for a miracle. Of course she does not know no fire can match her and she is the miracle on which his husband still believes. © 2009 - All Rights Reserved Kushal Poddar Species Another life was screaming with pain at that moment years ago. The noon busy in picking clouds lifted its warm face; the hospital smelled like disinfectant was the life. My father looked at the window pane. A robin was drawn as sitting on a branch of lively April tree. I had something in blood from the bird blended, mingled to evolve into a new species begun from me. © 2009 - All Rights Reserved Kushal Poddar Baby II Welcome earthling to this planet shrinking everyday. Sincerely, the burden of hope is on you to take the baton and continue. Only your path is slimy with the black blood we have spread. © 2009 - All Rights Reserved Kushal Poddar Thoughts Thoughts are seeing us from within and describing our worst; mimicking our small habits; drawing charcoal caricatures on their hidden canvas. “Men!” they exclaim, “Are just mammals without our luminous presence.” © 2009 - All Rights Reserved Kushal Poddar |

Yes, this hope can be perceived as a burden, or as a factor of enhancement. quote: Ahh, these are vanity thoughts! You are an example of a wonderful thinker. They are not saying this about you! Great jobs, really, dear Ku! Thank you for sharing your creativity! Love and hugs. Margherita "Love is the One who masters all things; |

Kushal, Each poem is wonderfully written. I think these are among your finest poems. I especially liked these lines though: quote: Well done, my friend. Alison |
