Tonight...
One little star
hanging in the sky.
Just hanging there,
looking down on
a sea of troubles
and twinkling serenely.
Must know something
we can't know.

One little star, I wonder what it knows? I like the simplicity of this one, it's not overdone. The slightest bit more would have been too much, another line less would have been too little to build the mood.
