Nothing bad has ever happened to them. So they mistakenly believe nothing bad ever happens to anyone. That belief, of course, is completely wrong. The people that hold that belief claim they cannot possible understand human suffering. Because they do not understand human suffering, they completely ignore it. These bigots are responsible for all the human misery in the world. Bones knows these people. He listens while they whine: “Oh--we just didn’t know.” Bones knows that’s a lie. Bobby |

To not know is to choose to ignore. To do no good is to do evil. Bones is right. |

Yo Bobby, Human misery depends on its degree and how much a person can take. Few are inbuilt and born to take them and many are lucky they don't face them. It’s true we just can’t say it doesn’t exist if we haven’t seen it. "Hardwork pays in the long run" |

It is about an experience we live through daily. Only the wearer knows where shoe pinches. |

There are those who are blind because they cannot see ~ and then there are those who cannot see because they close their eyes. Linda |

Thanks dear Linda, For the very wise comment. That’s almost a parable. Love Bobby |

Some people have such very comfortable moccasins... and never imagine walking a step of another's path... or even acknowledging that path is there. |

Bobby - When an ostrich sticks its head in the ground to avoid seeing, the rest of its body must face danger. We often act the same way which may be good for our head but bad for our body. Enjoyed this poetic peek at the human condition. Thanks REJ. Namyh |

Thanks dear Suthern, What you say is true. Bones has the wisdom wise advantage of having visited misery himself quite often. Love Bobby |

Thanks Bill, What you say is true. I suppose that's what "ignorance is bliss" is all about. Bobby |

Thanks dear Namyh, Isn't that the truth? It's really rather convenient that ostriches are that way. They are good to eat. Love Bobby |
