Forever In Your Heart

Some are lost,
homeless, hungry,
only needing love,

do we hear?
are we deaf?
their cries are loud,

All across the world,
children, abused,
dieing from AIDS,

Another minute passes,
one more dies,
have we become numb?

Some are sold,
into sex trades,
raped, murdered,

no one cares,
help me, help me,
Someone please!

Someone out there,
must love me,
where are they?

Will they come,
to resuce me,
before its too late?

another child quietly,
slowly closes her eyes,
takes her last breath,

Her cries are silent now,
more silent than ever,
as now she finds peace!

Yo A Romantic Heart,

Very true.  It has always been my contention that every family should adopt one orphan.

It’s never a mistake.

We adopted one forty years ago.  Now he’s a wonderfully kind, and successful business man.  He was our kid number four.

What happens to these children in the dark corners of the world where the shadows loom is indeed tragic. No one man or woman can dry their tears or take them far from the horrors. But maybe united we can at least save some.

When I see your face all the angels are shamed.

The truth is so stark when eyes see the hurt
that they endure each day...and we have so
much.
